2014 July Grand Rapids

Frank Lloyd Wright house built in 1909 for Meyer May.  What an extraordinary architect he was.

Loved the Gerald Ford museum.  He was a remarkable president.  He made numerous very important decisions while he was in office.

Resting places of Betty and Gerald Ford located right by the Presidential Museum,
Below:   Fred Meijer Sculpture Gardens.  He made his money in building lots of grocery stores.  When the city would not let him build a store on this beautiful property, he donated it to an organization that built this unbelievable sculpture garden.

Also walked from the Grand Rapids Brewing Company where we had lunch in downtown Grand Rapids to the art museum.
